This look back in time where children can compare what school was like in a one room school house in the 1700s to today is filled with short rhyming prose and luminous, detailed illustrations. An author’s note at the end shares quite a bit about the time period that students and parents will find interesting as well!
Louise the Big Cheese and the Back-To-School Smarty-Pants

A great book with some fabulous students and characters that show us all a lot about learning and why we’re really in school!

Energetic, bold illustrations add to the fun in this fabulous story!
Double Play! Monkeying Around With Addition
