Walk MS: Southwest Oklahoma
Come out and join more than 350 walkers in the walk to support The National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society. This year, Walk MS: Southwest Oklahoma will take place Saturday, April 16, at Lawton High School.
The group is hoping to reach their goal of $40,000. Funds raised will support direct services and programs for people with MS and their families in Oklahoma and MS research to find a cure for this chronic disease of the central nervous system.
People can participate in Walk MS individually or as a team. Volunteers are also needed! To register, volunteer or for more information, call 1.855.372.1331 or visit http://tinyurl.com/Walk-MS-SW-Oklahoma
Walkers can register on the day of the event, which begins at 9 a.m., followed by a 10 a.m. start time. There is no registration fee and no minimum pledge commitment; however, the average walker raises $225 to support research initiatives, programs and services of the National MS Society: Oklahoma. Individuals interested in joining or creating a team can sign up online with coworkers, friends, family or neighbors. So, go out and help support MS research.
